A wishlist that is worth wanting

Having an opinion. That is valuable.

I recently inherited an old olympus 35RC. An automatic, circa 1970. It is light, attractive and simple. The first roll I shot produced images that were so different from digital. The process of shooting with caution, knowing that I have a limited number of frames, and with suspense, not knowing the results immediately, is very satisfying. Picking up the developed film and accepting whatever I produced, without spending time on digital alterations, is a relief.

It is literally transforming.

Yes, it is a different world, a more real one when one has to develop that film...I like your choices for your photo shoots, both are obsessions of mine! Perspective and Simplicity are also very big with me...thank you J!

Well, you know I am a tech geek and can't resist a new digital toy, but I also love old cameras, and know exactly what you mean about there being a limited number of frames :).

Happy New Year to you and thank you for your lovely comment on my blog.
